Anyone can work out and get in shape. But since we were established back in 2014, we’ve been serving the Salinas Valley with different ways to exercise.
CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. We blend olympic weightlifting, cardio, gymnastics, powerlifting, and things like rope climbs and tire flips all into the same program. This will expose you to all sorts of fun things that you wouldn't normally do at a regular gym.
We also blast up the music and create an intense environment that will push you harder than you would anywhere else. It's really what sets us apart from other gyms!
If you're new to CrossFit, we want to help you learn a few things before getting you into regular classes. The very first week, we spend personal training you. During these sessions, you will be introduced to CrossFit's 9 Foundational Movements. We will teach you how to hold a barbell, what to do with your hands and your feet, the proper body positions that will help you move better and safer.
Each class will begin with a few stretches and warm-up drills. We do this as a class. After we are done warming up, your coach will then take you through a small lecture. This is where we explain what we will be doing. We like to give you tips and techniques that will help you move more efficiently throughout your workout. We also give any athletes that deal with any pains, injuries, or special needs and give them modifications. Each workout can be scaled or changed up a bit allowing literally ANYONE to join our classes. We will then start the clock and let you workout.
A high intensity interval training class that involves a variety of body weight drills combined with a few light objects such as kettlebells, medicine balls, battle ropes. Our goal is to keep you moving for the entire hour to get you back into shape. We do not use any barbells or heavy weights!
We want to see you get better! We set up an area aside from our classes allowing you to use our facility during business hours. Set-up with a few weightlifting racks, turf, plates, GHD's, sleds, hammers, dumbbells, pull-up bars, weightlifting platform, jerk blocks, and a few other accessory tools that you can use at your convenience. Come in before class, stay after, work on the things you would like to get better at.
Youth Speed & Agility
This class is designed to help youth develop their footwork, speed, agility, power, and change of direction. We offer this class Tuesday and Thursday night at 6:30pm.
